Furthermore, only and exclusively from smartphones and tablets, it offers the possibility of playing in the background and offline downloading of videos, which is why I have chosen to tell you about it in this guide.
That said, to download the videos of your interest from YouTube, the first step you need to take is to download theapps on YouTube on your smartphone or tablet, in case you haven't already done so. Then wait for the download procedure to be started and completed (you will be able to realize this by the appearance of a specific notifies at the bottom of the app screen), then you can access the video by going to the section Collection YouTube, by selecting the item Download from the new screen displayed and tapping on his title.

noTube (Online)
Would you like more control over the format of the videos to download from YouTube? Then I highly recommend you try noTube. It is a very complete online service, through which it is possible not only to download the videos present on the famous Google site, but also convert them to a wide range of different formats.
To use it, linked to its main page, paste theVideo url you want to download in the bar located in the center, select the format desired output from the adjacent drop-down menu and press the button OK. Then wait for the video to be processed and press the button Download that you see appear, to download it to your computer.
SaveFrom (Online)
SaveFrom it is another essential but very effective service to which you can consider turning to download the videos on YouTube. It should be noted that, unlike the other solutions I have already told you about, it also supports downloading from other sites used for viewing streaming videos. Basically it's free, but only allows low quality downloads. To download the videos in HD (as well as to download only the audio track of the movies), you need to subscribe to a special paid subscription (with prices starting from $ 9,99 / month).
To use SaveFrom to download the videos of your interest on YouTube, all you have to do is connect to its home page, paste theaddress of the movie to download in the bar located in the center of the screen and click the button (>) located on the right.

Instead of relying on the aforementioned online services, do you prefer to download videos from YouTube using a dedicated computer program? Then I suggest you try 4K Video Downloader. It is a software for Windows and macOS that allows you to perform the operation in question, as well as to download videos from other Internet sites, in an extremely easy and fast way.
It offers the possibility to choose between various formats and various output resolutions, supports subtitles and is also able to download entire playlists (for up to 25 videos at a time, otherwise you have to unlock this feature by switching to the Premium version of the software, at a cost € 14,64, which also allows you to remove advertising and use additional extra functions).
To download the program to your computer, connect to its website and click on the button Download 4K Video Downloader. VLC is a popular free multimedia player available for Windows, macOS and Linux that is capable of playing practically any type of audio and video file without the aid of external codecs. In addition to fulfilling its main purpose, the program can also be used to download videos from the Internet and, therefore, also from YouTube.
To understand how to download YouTube videos with VLC, first of all download the program to your computer by visiting its website and clicking on the button Download VLC. Another tool to download YouTube videos on Android that you can consider using is TubeMate. This is a free and very easy to use app. Unfortunately it is not available on the Play Storeconsequently, in order to be able to download it, it is necessary to download the relative one APK file from the developer's website and proceed with the "manual" installation of the same, after activating the support for unknown origins in the device settings.
If you don't know how to enable unknown source support on Android, do this: If you own a device with Android 8.0 or higherinstead, you have to go to Settings> Apps and notifications, tap on the item related to browser from which you intend to download the APK package (ex. Chrome), press on the wording Install sconosciute app and carry on ON the corresponding levetta alla voce Allow from this source.

Now, go to the TubeMate website directly from your device and tap the button first Android Freeware, by your complaint Download that you find by scrolling the page and then on the button Install APK. If you are asked which app you intend to download the application with, choose the browser currently in use and tap the items OK o Download, in response to the warnings you see appearing at the bottom of the display.
When the download is complete, expand the notification menu of Android and tap on the name of the .apk file just obtained, in order to start installing the app. In the screen that opens, touch the items Install e apri, to complete the installation process and start TubeMate.
Now that you see the TubeMate screen, accept the terms of use of the app by touching the wording I agree, grant app i permits necessary to work and close the screen related to release notes. Next, choose if you want to use the app by viewing targeted advertisements or not.
At this point, search for the YouTube video to download on your device by tapping the button with the magnifying glass located at the top right and typing the title in the appropriate field, start playback and select the button with the down arrow which appears at the bottom right.
