Preliminary information
Prima di enter the dettaglio della procedura su how to remove advertising from youtube, I think you may be interested in learning more about the subscription methods offered by Google, through which to achieve this purpose. There are currently two types of membership available for YouTube: YouTube Premium e YouTube Music.
YouTube Premium is a service that allows you to view all YouTube videos from any device without advertising. It also enables local download and background playback of any movie via the YouTube app for Android and iOS. It costs 11,99 euro / month (or € 17,99 / month with the family plan, usable by up to 6 people) with a 1 month free trial period without obligation of renewal. For more information, I recommend that you consult the official YouTube website.
YouTube Music instead, it is YouTube's answer to various music streaming services, such as Spotify and Apple Music. It includes the entire YouTube catalog (including unofficial mixes), allowing, in addition to the removal of advertisements, the playback of music in the background and the download of songs from Android and iOS, through a dedicated application. The subscription is priced at 9,99 euro / month (or € 14,99 / month for the family plan, usable by up to 6 people) and is available in free trial for 1 month, without obligation of renewal. How to remove advertising from YouTube
As mentioned in the previous chapter, to remove advertising from YouTube you need to sign up for a YouTube Premium or YouTube Music membership. Below you will find all the necessary instructions to complete the operation from your computer">computer, smartphone and tablet.
YouTube Premium
YouTube Premium is the main subscription offered by the well-known streaming platform, i.e. the one that allows you to remove advertising from any content on YouTube, be it videos or music. In short, if you want to use the service without commercials, YouTube Premium is the right subscription for you.

The YouTube Premium subscription can clearly be subscribed through the official YouTube portal, accessible from any browser for web browsing.
To subscribe to the service, you must then connect to the official YouTube Premium website and press on the item LOGIN, present at the top right. After that, you need to type theemail address of your Google account, press on the item NEXT, enter the password associated with the profile and click again NEXT.
At this point, in case you want to subscribe to the "normal" plan, click on the item TRY IT FOR FREE. If, on the other hand, you need a subscription for several people (maximum of 6 users), you must select the item Family subscription and then press the key TRY IT FOR FREE, which will appear on the right of the screen. Once this is done, you may be asked to re-enter the Password of your Google account and press on the item NEXT.
Now, insert Country, Your name, 1 address, 2 address (optional), Postal code, City e Province in the form that appears on the screen and select the item CONTINUED. Once this is done, you need to enter account details Paypal or one credit / debit card valid, i.e. the card number Expiration date and CVC (three-digit number often found on the back of the card). The circuits accepted for payment are American Express, MasterCard and VISA.
To select Paypal as a payment method, you must press on theicona della freccia verse il basso located on the right and select the item Add Paypal. At this point, you just have to press on the voice BUY ONE, in order to confirm your subscription to YouTube Premium.
Perfect: from now on, you can watch all YouTube videos ad-free. This applies to every platform from which you log into your Google / YouTube account.
In case you don't want to keep YouTube Premium auto-renewal on, you can follow my guide on how to disable YouTube Premium. In general, you just have to access the YouTube subscriptions page, press on the item CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION, tick one of the available boxes and first press on the item NEXT and then Yes, cancel. This way, you will be able to continue using your subscription until the subscription period ends and you will not have to pay any more money.
Smartphones and tablets
If you wish to act as a mobile. you have to resort toofficial YouTube app. To download and install the latter, you need to open the Play Store (if you are using Android) or the App Store (if you are using an iPhone or iPad), search "Youtube" in the latter and select theicona dell'app (a white arrow pointing right on a red background) from the search results. After that, you need to press on the item Installa / Ottieni and, if you are using iOS, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
Once you have downloaded and opened the application, log in with your Google account data (email address e Password) and press onaccount icon present at the top right. Next, tap on the item Switch to YouTube Premium, then up TRY IT FOR FREE. If, on the other hand, you want to subscribe to a family subscription (for up to 6 people), click on the item Family subscription and then on that TRY IT FOR FREE.
At this point you have to choose between the various payment methods available: credit / debit card (American Express, MasterCard and VISA circuits), PayPal or billing by telephone operator. All you have to do is enter the data of the payment method you prefer and click on the item BUY ONE, to confirm the subscription.
In case you want to deactivate the automatic renewal of the subscription, so as not to have to pay any more money, just go back to the home page of the application, press on theaccount icon present at the top right and select the item Paid subscriptions.
After that, you need to tap on the item Manage, check one of the boxes that appear on the screen and press in succession on the items NEXT e Yes, cancel. For more details on this, I recommend that you consult my guide on how to deactivate YouTube Premium.
YouTube Music
Let's start with YouTube Music, the YouTube service designed exclusively for music and which includes the removal of advertisements related to the songs that can be heard through the dedicated website (which is not the classic YouTube, but a separate portal) or the official application for smartphones and tablet. It therefore does not affect the general YouTube experience and does not remove the advertisements that appear while watching other types of videos on the famous portal owned by Google.

YouTube Music membership can be subscribed via its official website.
To proceed, connect to the official YouTube Music site and follow the instructions I described in the chapter on how to activate YouTube Premium from a computer">computer (the procedure is the same, both as regards the activation and deactivation of the automatic renewal).
Once this is done, you can take advantage of your subscription on the official YouTube Music portal, where you will find all the songs and related video clips in the service catalog, obviously all of which can be played without any kind of advertising.
Smartphones and tablets
The YouTube Music service can also be used on smartphones and tablets, through its official application.
To install the latter, open the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), search "youtube music" in the latter and select theicona dell'app (a red circle with the ▶ ︎ button in the center) from the search results. Next, tap on the item Installa / Ottieni and, if you are using iPhone or iPad, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
Once you've downloaded and opened the YouTube Music app, press the button LOGIN and select il Google account name with which you want to access the service. If you are using iOS, you may be prompted to log into your Google account via email address e Password.
At this point, press onaccount icon present at the top right and tap on the item PASSA A MUSIC PREMIUM and then on NO THANK YOU (to confirm that you want to try the Music subscription and not the Premium subscription). Then press on the item TRY IT FOR FREE and choose from the proposed payment methods (Add credit or debit card, Add PayPal o Activate operator billing).
Once you have entered the payment method data correctly, you simply have to press on the item BUY ONE to confirm your subscription and start listening to ad-free music through the YouTube Music app.
