How to survive Slime Climb in Fall Guys

If you've been on Fall Guys social media, you've probably seen the “All My Homies Hate Slime Climb” meme spammed in the comments. It is true that when you first start playing Fall Guys, this Slime Climb is by far the most difficult start game game, as it is the one race where you can also get knocked out if you fall into the rising slime.

That said, if you take this deadly obstacle course one obstacle at a time, it's a lot easier to handle. Think of it as a bunch of little back-to-back games. Even if the stakes are high, everyone has their own tip or strategy.

How to overcome all obstacles in Slime Climb

  1. Bounce forward. On the first obstacle, you can jump on the yellow triangle to bounce in the middle of the ledge and skip part of the work. This will keep you ahead of the rising mud if you get it right the first time.
  2. Stay inside. The balls rolling over the second obstacle can slow you down, but if you stay inside they probably won't knock you over.
  3. Time your jumps. This hurdle is tricky because the mobile platforms are not in sync with each other. If you jump at the wrong time, both platforms will push and knock you out. The important thing is to jump when there is enough space between their inner states that you have time to stand on both. Jump and dive back home for free on the second jump.
  4. Go against the grain. It is important to actively walk against the direction of the conveyor belt. This way you won't be knocked down by the moving probes or the treadmill itself.
  5. The path of least resistance. When you need to go through the cylinders, if there are other players on it, always go for the less populated obstacle as it is very easy to be pushed by another player.
  6. Walk on the green border. The mud is slippery and the hammers can hit you, but if you go to the right there is a mint green ground edge that you can walk on without ever needing to hit any of these obstacles.
  7. Stop between the platforms. These platforms move fast and trying to perform everything at once will normally result in your knockdown. Try to wait between them so you can get to the other side safely.
  8. Stay in the middle. Items will try to knock you back one level or completely off the map. Carefully reassemble the slime and stay in the middle. This way, if you get a little shaken up, you will have a better chance of not falling.
  9. Swerve and jump. The stretch is here. For the last obstacle, make a gap between the swinging objects and jump into the end zone. Players can try to push you here, so get excited and do what you can to get to that finish line.

Here and there there are a few platforms that you can jump on early as well. Overall, Slime Climb is tough, but with tips and strategy you can break the threatening game down into smaller, more manageable chunks. So go ahead. Run, jump and dive to a clear victory. (Or a dirty win, if you want to fend off some players in the end. We'll only judge you a little.)
