What is S mode?
Windows 10 mode S appeared from version 1803 de Windows 10.
It is a light version that some manufacturers integrate on Windows 10 PCs.
It is not possible to install another browser, only the Egde browser is present.
You cannot install other software or applications other than those present only in the Microsoft Store.
The registry cannot be modified.
It's sort of a bridged Windows.
After leaving the S mode it will be impossible to go back.

Change Windows language
Click on the Start button then on the toothed wheel (Settings)
Or with the keyboard keys Windows + i (i like iris)
Left menu Item --►Time and languages
Click on --► Languages (Languages and regions)
Click on --►Add a language
Select from the list for example --► English (United Kingdom).
Click on --►Next
Click on --►Set as my Windows display language
Click on --►Installer
The language settles down.
Restart the PC
Click on the Start button then --►Settings
Or with the keyboard keys Windows + i (i like iris)
Click on --► Time & Language
Left menu click on --►Language
Right menu click on - ►Add a language
Select from the list --►of the country (Your country)
Click on --►Next
Check the box --►Set as my Windows display language
Click on --►install
The language settles down.
Open the Windows store and click on --►Obtain
Click if request the Microsoft account on --►Yes sign out now
Enter the Microsoft account credentials.
Restart the PC
Open Settings-►Update and Security
Left menu - ►Activation
Click on --► Access the Store
Ps : Above all, do not click on --► Upgrade your edition of Windows.
Click on --►Obtain
Click on --►Close
Purge Microsoft Store Cache
If the output of S mode is always refused it is necessary to purge the cache of Microsoft Store.
In the search box on the taskbar type ►wsreset
Right click on -►Execute as administrator (A window will appear for ten seconds).
Or with the keyboard keys Windows + R taper--►wsreset
A blank Command Prompt window opens and then closes after about 10 seconds.
The Microsoft Store then opens automatically.
Click on --►Obtain
Click on --►Close
Other solution :
Shut down the PC and restart and start the operation again.

Left menu - ►Activation
Click on --► Access the Store

Wait a short time, close the PowerShell window.
Shut down the PC.
Repeat the operation.
Open Settings-►Update and Security
Left menu - ►Activation
Click on --► Access the Store
Ps : Above all, do not click on --► Upgrade your edition of Windows.
Click on --►Obtain
Click on --►Close
Restart the PC
Update the Windows Store
Update Microsoft Store
Select the Start button, then, in the list of applications, select Microsoft Store.
In the Microsoft Store, select --► Downloads and Updates --►Get Updates.
If an update is available for the Microsoft Store, it will be installed automatically.
Repeat the operation.
Open Settings-►Update and Security
Left menu - ►Activation
Click on --► Access the Store
Ps : Above all, do not click on --► Upgrade your edition of Windows.

Restart the PC
Installer Opera
Download a specific application (Opera) from the Microsoft Store to switch to the classic version of Windows 10.
In the Windows Store, update the Windows Store application.
Trying to install Opera.
An error message will appear, and at the bottom of the message you are asked to "deactivate S mode"to be able to continue installing the third-party application.
Click on this link and it redirects you to the application "Exit S mode".

Reset the Store
Settings-►Application-►Microsoft Store-►Advanced Options: Reset
Restarts the Windows Update service
Keyboard key Windows + R
Taper --► net Start wuauserv
A brief window will appear and disappear.
Restart the PC.
Repeat the operation.
Open Settings-►Update and Security
Left menu - ►Activation
Click on --► Access the Store
Ps : Above all, do not click on --► Upgrade your edition of Windows.
Click on --►Obtain
Click on --►Close
Restart the PC
Proxy settings
Check the proxy settings.
keys Windows + R
Type -► Inetcpl.cpl
-► tab Connections
Click on-► Network settings
Check that the "Auto Detection Settings"or select.
Uninstall the latest update
Settings ► Update & security ► View update history
Click on the line --► Uninstall updates
Reset PC
Cloud PC reset == ► reset a PC when Windows is usable
And repeat the normal procedure to get out of S Mode.
Factory restoration if necessary.
Delete all.
