How to unlock the ISO SMG after Season 5
As with all new weapons launched through the Battle Pass, the season following their addition sees the unlock requirements shift from progression to a challenge format. The ISO SMG can be yours after Season 5 and meet the criteria listed below:
The best way to eliminate this task quickly and easily is to use one of the must-have SMGs, the MP5 and MP7. The consistency of these weapons has kept them high on various multiplayer rosters since their launch. Depending on your weapon level, you may need to play with one of the SMGs for a few turns to unlock the necessary optics. The APX5 Holographic Sight is available for MP5 at weapon level 5. The Holo Combat Corp sight of the MP7 can also be obtained at weapon level 5.
Depending on when you read this guide, you might be lucky enough to have a Rust or 24/7 Shipping option on the reading list. Either would be ideal for securing at least seven eliminations per game, even if you get a day off. At the time of writing, the playlist is focused on Season 6's new additions: Broadcast, Mialstor Tank Factory, and Station.
Of the three, diffusion may be best suited for cramped hallways and cramped environments. However, all three offer enough opportunities for close engagements to get through the challenge with few problems. Keep in mind that you can withdraw from a match after seven enemies have been eliminated. The killings are not erased to start early. It is certainly not considered great sportsmanship online, but it is a common tactic used to overcome similar challenges.
