How to beat Sierra
As we explained before, a simple trick to doing a lot of damage right out of the gate is to have your second or third Pokémon against in the first slot. When the battle begins, you'll immediately want to trade them in for your real meter. This will give you an opening as Sierra is reluctant to restart the fight, allowing you to get a few free kicks before the real fight begins. With that out of the way, here are the counters for the three stages.
In the first stage, Sierra will still be using Terhal from February 2020. With a wide range of weaknesses, there is a lot to choose from here, so choose from Braségali with Fire Spin and Blaze Kick, Darkrai with Snarl and Dark Pulse, Pyroli with Fire Spin and overheat, or Entei with Fire Spin and overheat.
And now things are getting harder to decide, as Sierra's second Pokémon can be Noadkoko, Sharpedo, or Lokhlass. If it's Noadkoko he's very bug-weak, then go with Pyrax with Bug Bite and Bug Buzz, Cizayox with Fury Cutter and X-Scissor, or Scarabrute with Bug Bite and X-Scissor.
For Sharpedo, you can choose from Lucario with Counter and Super Power, Mackogneur with Counter and Close Combat, Raikou
Volt Switch and Wild Charge, and Electhor with Thunder Shock and Zap Cannon. If it's Lokhlass, you can use Dialga with Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor, Lucario with Counter and Power Up Punch, Melmetal with Thunder Shock and Rock Slide, or Regice with Lock On and Focus Blast.
So, for this second group, your safest choice, if you don't know what's to come, would be Lucario just because he will easily defeat two of the three.
The last Pokémon you'll face in Sierra's team will be Demolossus, Tengalice, or Alakazam. If she has Demolosse, you can counter with Laggron with Mud Shot and Hydro Cannon, Tartard with Mud Shot and Power Up Punch, Mackogneur with Counter and Cross Chop, or Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge.
If Sierra is using Tengalice, go for Togekiss with Charm and Ancient Power, Ho-Oh with Hidden Power and Courageous Bird, Yanméga with Bug Bite and Ancient Power or Bug Buzz, or Pyrax with Bug Bite and Bug Buzz. But for Alakazam, you have to use Darkrai with Snarl and Dark Pulse, Hydra Triox with Dragon Breath and Dark Pulse, or Tyranitar with Bite and Crunch.
