Samsung has registered nine new Galaxy A series names

Samsung definitely plans to continue developing new and advanced phones in the years to come. According to some recent reports, this South Korean giant recently filed trademark applications for nine new Galaxy A series smartphones. These include Samsung Galaxy A12, A22, A32, A42, A52, A62, A72, A82 and A92. Now, given that Samsung Galaxy A 51 and A71 are yet to launch this year (most likely in a few months), it's safe to assume that these new Samsung-branded phone names won't arrive until 2021.

As a reminder, last year Samsung completely overhauled its Galaxy A series. After dropping out of the Galaxy J series, the company decided to introduce a brand new Galaxy A series, varying from low to high end smartphones. So far this new generation of Galaxy A has been a great success, especially considering that their The A90, which launched last September, was the first Galaxy A series smartphone to feature 5G. Also, these new registered Galaxy A series are just proof that Samsung plans to improve it by adding more models in the following years.

As was the case with the A10-A90, the new Galaxy A series will have a variable price range, with A12 being the most affordable and A92 being the most expensive (and powerful as well). While it's nice to see that the company seeks to please all of its customers, opinions on this matter are quite mixed. Some people think new models are released far too quickly, which is understandable to some extent given the speed at which technology is changing these days. On the other hand, there are also those who are very excited to get a new model of smartphone every year. Either way, it's nice to see that Samsung is looking to expand its Galaxy A series, and we can't wait to see what these new models have in store.

Additionally, this year's CES kicks off on January 7, which is less than a week away, and we're excited to see what new models Samsung will unveil during this time.
