How to find the merchant and sell items.
The very first thing to do, which is also mandatory, is to find the legendary Merchant from Valheim. The mysterious figure (not really) is found in the Black Forest, with a bonfire lit somewhere in this biome. Here are some tips for finding it:
- As soon as you are within range (1000 km), you will be able to see it on your map as a money bag icon.
- The Black Forest is the only biome he resides in.
- Its most frequent spawning point is near the coast.
- As we mentioned above, it already has a campfire, making it easy to locate it by environmental cues like smoke and glow from the fire.
- As of yet, it has yet to be found on the starting island, making the boat a necessary tool to reach it.
Once you've located him, simply walk up to him and interact with him. You will be able to sell him anything you want, for a certain amount of gold, then purchase any of his wares which include a number of cloth items and more. - Megingjord - 950 pieces.
- Ymir's Flesh - 120 pieces.
- Fishing rod - 350 pieces.
- Bait x50 - 10 pieces.
