Destiny 2 The quest for Izanagi's Burden is quite long and involves some time spent in the Volundr Forge. For a stage you will need to get the Volundr Forge at maximum temperament, but in order to do this you will need to know the locations of the Volundr Forge drones. In this guide, we'll show you where they are.
To get to the Volundr Forge, you need to spawn on the Sunken Islands on the EDZ, then head to the large tunnel on the left side of the map. Head down until you reach a cabal, then go through the smaller tunnel leading to the right side. It will be blocked by some bollards, so just walk and then climb onto your Sparrow again when you pass them.
Upon arrival, interact with the Forge to start the event. You have to go through the first wave, as the Forge Drones will only spawn between the two turns.
Volundr Forge Drone # 1
The first drone is on the right side, near the closed area of the cave. It will appear near the roof, just above the crate.
Volundr Forge Drone # 2
The second drone will appear on the left side, near the trees on a rock outcrop outside of the Forge area.
Now that you know where the two Volundr Forge drones appear, you can remove them very quickly. This Forge is filled with Cabal enemies, so hard-hitting weapons like hard cannons and shotguns are great, but you'll want to have some range available for the boss fight.
It's a good idea to bring a sniper rifle, as this will allow you to do a lot of damage to the boss at the end of the forge. Once you complete this Forge at Maximum Temperament, you will be a little closer to your Izanagi's burden.
