In the images you see below the sales package of our Telmu gamepad is photographed: a recycled rigid cardboard box that depicts the joystick on the front, and a few other information on the remaining faces.
Opening it, set in a plastic base, we can find the gamepad and a small USB stick for use wireless with PC and Xbox 360.
Below then, a USB cable - microUSB (about 20 cm) for recharging, a very useful instruction manual - including in your language - and finally, the smartphone support Android!
Design & Ergonomics
In the case of gamepads, design and ergonomics go hand in hand; good grip and the appropriate size can make all the difference in the gaming experience.
The design of this Telmu gamepad strongly resembles that of an Xbox controller, both in terms of its features (15.3cm x 11.1cm x 6.1cm), and regarding the position and nomenclature of the commands. Weight? 210g, compared to nearly 500 for a regular Xbox 360 controller.
It is entirely made of PVC but is shiny on the front and rougher ("velvety" I would say) on the back, for give more grip and improve grip. The latter is very important especially in use with the smartphone, since its weight unbalances that of the gamepad in the upper part.
Ergonomics, therefore, promoted with flying colors: the smaller dimensions compared to a conventional console controller, allow a good usability when using it with smartphones, but without affecting the gaming experience on PC and Xbox!
Functionality & Usage
This Telmu gamepad is equipped with double wireless connectivity depending on the use to be made of it which, obviously, cannot be simultaneous.
PC/ Xbox 360
The small USB that you will find in the package allows you to connect, wirelessly (and up to 7 meters), the joystick to your Xbox 360 - without having to configure anything - or to your computer, on which an automatic installation procedure will start during which the gamepad comes automatically recognized (Plug & Play).

Android
Gaming on your Android smartphone, on the other hand, is ensured by a reliable connection Bluetooth which also supports connecting to other devices at the same time (did anyone say bluetooth headphones?).

Real racing, FIFA and so on and so forth: The Telmu TL-GP01 gamepad is precise, light and durable. The keys don't wobble - they're firm - and the analog sticks are stiff enough to allow for precise movement.
If you use smartphone support (up to 5.5 ″ don't worry) and a pair of Bluetooth headphones, you have created a respectable portable console station!
With Real Racing 3 and the maximum volume in the ears, my Xiaomi Mi 5 gave me many hours of fun, also thanks to the 550 mAh built into the joystick, they promise at least 3 hours of use. Too bad only for the absence of the vibration feedback.
Conclusions
The Telmu Gamepad is placed in a price range that makes it almost a best-buy! Let's not get confused: there are much better joypads for performance and reliability, but not for cost. In fact its price, of approximately EUR 30, places it in a commercial range where it is possible to find similar performances, but the same thing could not be said for build quality and reliability.
I would recommend it both for those like me who are casual gamers - especially for Android and PC - but also for those who use it more intensively; in this case however, you will feel the lack of vibration feedback.
