GTA V is the free game of the week on the Epic Games Store. You can acquire it for life from May 14 at 17 p.m. until May 21 at 16:59 p.m.
Every Thursday at 17 p.m., PC players log into the Epic Games Store to pick up one or more free games. These are available for a week, but once acquired they are available for life. A good way to build up a nice library of titles without paying anything. And this time, Epic Games hits very hard since it is GTA V that is offered.

It was the EGS Twitter account that sold the fuse ahead of time. “Get GTA V for free on PC until May 21st. You keep it forever on the Epic Games Store, ”it says. A tweet that was mistakenly posted too early and has since been deleted. But some Internet users had the time to take a screenshot of the tweet.
On May 7, the publisher put at our disposal the little game Death Coming, and had to communicate on the title that would replace it on May 14. Instead, Epic was only announcing a “mystery game”. There were then two possibilities: either he did not yet know which title would be free, or it was a very big surprise to come. We now know that the second option is chosen.
To take advantage of it, all you have to do is log into your Epic Games Store account (or create one if necessary) and access the store from the web or the PC application. The free game of the week is highlighted there, you just have to click on it and then on the button Obtain and finally Confirm order.

While GTA V was released in 2013, at the start of the current generation of consoles, the title from Rockstar Games is timeless and continues to sell well. It has sold over 120 million copies, making it the third best-selling title of all time and the first for the period 2010-2021.
