There's a loot cave going on in Borderlands 3. Hopefully Gearbox Software doesn't stop it anytime soon. If players are looking for a method to acquire an array of Legendary Weapons, Class Mods, and Grenades in their collection, this is the way to go. To enter this little loot cave, however, you will need to have completed the game and have access to Mayhem levels.
Borderlands 3 Loot Cave
The first thing to do is to level the game to Mayhem level 3. This difficulty level is the highest level of Mayhem available in the game. It carries the most risk as it will make enemies in the Borderlands 3 world incredibly powerful. However, this will increase the rarity and amount of loot you are going to receive to counteract these unwanted effects. You are going to find the fights extremely difficult, but as you progress you are going to get through.
Now the particular vault in Borderlands 3 is on Eden-6. You are looking for the location on the Jakobs estate. Head there and make sure to prepare yourself for taking on hordes of enemies. Of course, you can make your way through them, but to get the most out of this little "loot cave" you're just going to have to squeeze through them. Travel quickly to the southernmost part of Jakobs' Estate and make your way to the Servant's Elevator.
When you arrive you will see a tinkle of loot coming out from under the bridge. He's a quick little guy. He's got a shield, so you're going to need a powerful weapon for electricity. Once that's done, use a gun or acid-based weapon to further reduce his health. You want to make sure that you kill the loot loot to the max of the number of high level guns and gear that you are going to get.
When you're done, collect your weapons, put away the ones you want, and sell the rest. After that, go back to the Fast Travel point at the bottom of the map and go back to the main game menu. When you load back into the game on this character, you can go back to the location and start the process again. You will likely get a Legendary item after a Legendary item from the loot.
However, it's important to note that at the moment, Legendary Items are the focus of Borderlands 3's end of the game's content. Gearbox Software already has plenty of them for the rest of the game, but it's yet to be released. You can do this trick to get as many legendary items as in the game, but you will exhaust all the fun potential. Only do this if you're ready to switch to a different character or want to acquire all of the items on a single profile to prepare for additional content in the future.
