Update of 2 July 2021

Sony seems to have backtracked regarding the closure of stores on Ps3 and PsVita, while he confirmed his decision on PsP's online store. The first portable PlayStation will therefore no longer be able to access the store, definitive proof of how much Sony now considers this device obsolete.

According to what was reported by the editorial staff of Kotaku, the Japanese giant would have found a solution to guarantee PsP users to still have access to the games, which they will be available for purchase through the Ps3 and PsVita store. This is undoubtedly a compromise, which limits some PsP functions, but it is still an acceptable solution if we take into consideration the age of the console.
