On the occasion of the Pokémon Go Fest started today, Niantic announced the arrival of a new Shiny Pokémon. It is about Nidoran which, precisely for the event, will be increasingly present in the game starting today 4 July.
Obviously the new shiny is not the only novelty conceived by Niantic. Like in Pokémon Go Fest held in Chicago in June, Niantic offers a variety of global challenges across Germany. Players from all over the world can participate in various challenges to accumulate points. In the event that a certain number of challenges are completed, a series of bonuses will be added to the game including another chance to catch the Legendary Pokemon Entei.
This week also marks the third anniversary of the release of Pokemon Go. For the occasion, Niantic introduces a variety of events and bonuses. The shape Shiny Alola di Rattata, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Diglett, Meowth, Geodude, Grimer ed Exeggutor can be found in nature, and Pikachu with the party hat is available again. New special research missions and new avatar decor elements inspired by the three teams have also been introduced. The Legendary Pokémon Groudon it will also be available in gym raids until 10 July.
The next Pokémon Go Community Day is scheduled for July 21st. The Pokémon protagonist of the event will be Mudkip, the third generation water starter. During the event, Mudkip will appear a little thicker than normal and you can evolve it into its final version, Swampert. Also, by catching Pokémon during this event, XP points will be tripled.
