GIMP (Windowos/Mac/Linux)

The first of the programs to write on free photos in British that I want to suggest you to use is GIMP, a real milestone in terms of image editing at no cost. Haven't you ever heard of it? Weird, he's practically a celebrity. However there is no problem, we fix it instantly. It is one of the best free alternatives to the expensive Adobe Photoshop, it is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux and allows you to improve and change the appearance of digital photos thanks to the many tools available. Of course, it also allows you to write on it.

Then connect to the program site and then click on the button Scaricare 2.x.xx which is in the center and then on the button Download GIMP 2.x.xx attached to the new page displayed. Now wait for the software download procedure to be started and completed, then double-click on the downloaded file to start the installation wizard of the same and follow the instructions on the screen to complete it.

Now, press on text tool attached to the section Instrument panel of GIMP, click on the place in the photo where you want to add text and type what you want to write. You can then make changes to the inserted text by selecting it and using the appropriate formatting tools next to it. If desired, you can also change the position in which you have chosen to insert the caption by clicking on the relevant selection box and dragging it to the desired point in the image.

When the changes are complete, press on the voice Fillet located in the upper right part of the central window of GIMP, select the item Esporta eats… from the menu that opens, indicate the export format and the location on your computer where you intend to save the photo and press on Export.

Movavi Photo editor (Windows/Mac)

As an alternative to the above program I suggest you try Movavi Photo Editor. This is another nice software belonging to the category in question that allows you to add writings and captions to photos in a simple and intuitive way and that offers various ad hoc functions for immediate retouching, to apply various filters and to remove objects from the background. Note that the software is free but has some limitations (a watermark is added to the photos, screenshots are disabled and it is possible to upload up to 10 images to Facebook) which can only be disabled by purchasing a license key. However, there are no problems regarding the number of days of use.
