Rainbow Six Siege: here is Clash, the new defender of Operation Grim Sky

Exactly one week ago, Ubisoft officially announced the next season of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege: let's talk about Operation Grim Sky. The new event will introduce two Operators to the already rich roster of competitive shooter and today we are ready to discover the identity of one of the new entries.

It is Clash, Alias Morowa Evans, the game's first defender with a shield. A big news for the Ubisoft title, since the only operators equipped with a shield - for now - are Blitz, Montagne and Fuze, three Attack Operators.

Rainbow Six Siege: it's Morowa's turn 'Clash‘ Evans

Regarding the character, the official Rainbow Six blog offers us an interesting excerpt from the biography of Clash, British operator:

“Born and raised in London, she is a tenacious agent who served in the Territorial Support Group and was at the forefront of the 2011 London riots. She earned a place in the Specialist Firearms Command (SCO19) and became famous throughout. the Metropolitan Police Services (MPS) of London.

She is an expert in devising riot strategies and even received permission to attend Gold Command meetings, eventually earning her the rank of detective. Her experience, her impeccable record of service and her tenacity at work have earned her points in the eyes of the Rainbow Six ”.

As the developers themselves specify, the particular EC shield di Clash (riot shield for electrocontrol) was born from the meeting of Mira's Black Mirrors and Twitch's stun drone: a huge barrier that will not only protect the operator from enemy fire, but will also allow it to emit electrical discharges, with the likely intent to slow down opponents and - possibly - inflict a small amount of damage.

It will be very interesting to see how this defender performs in the future goal of the game, when Operation Grim Sky will be officially introduced on the servers of Rainbow Six Siege. Recall that the new season will also see the arrival of an Attack Operator, an American equipped - apparently - with a blowtorch.

The full presentation of Operation Grim Sky is scheduled during the first Six Major in Paris, scheduled from 17 to 19 August. You can follow the event on the R6 Twitch channel.
