Who is Sophia Campana
Sophia Campana lives in Colorado, United States, and is an Elite level professional artistic gymnast, the highest competitive level in the sport. Known to the Italian public for her participation in a popular television program and loved by viewers for her positive attitude and sympathy, Sophia is also an international speaker.
Proving a promising athlete since childhood, Sophia participated at the age of eleven in the Colorado State Championship, where she won in Bodyweight Exercise. She subsequently qualified for another seven Regional Championships, consecutively, and competed in Mexico, in the Cancun Classic, at the age of twelve.
Having reached Level 10, the highest competitive level before entering the Elite sphere, at the age of seventeen, she qualified on her first attempt for the renowned US National Invitational Tournament. In this important national tournament she was awarded the Gold at the Beam, the Bronze at the Asymmetrical Parallels and the Fifth Place in the Individual Final.
Thanks to her dual citizenship, US and Italian, Sophia was able to train at the Elite level with the Italian National Team and in 2015 she competed in Serie A, which represents the highest competitive level in Italy. His team climbed to the podium in two of the four competitions, eventually reaching first place in the prestigious Italian Golden League competition.
Pursuing her dream of doing artistic gymnastics at an international level, she attracted great media attention and conquered the Italian public with her participation in a famous reality show, which made her a source of inspiration for the younger generations.
Having dedicated her life to artistic gymnastics, self-discipline, finding self-confidence and achieving her maximum potential, Sophia is now focused on the support her experience can provide to other young people. In fact, he conducts seminars all over the world to stimulate people of all ages to discover their passion and to use it as a guide and a driving factor in reaching their potential.
Drawing important lessons from his challenges to the Vaulting, Parallels, Beam and Free Body, he is currently dedicated to his new mission: to motivate other young people to find and feed their own Inner Fire.
