Teams becomes more accessible for everyone

With the increasing importance of videoconferencing services with the spread of smart working, an evolution of the offer became necessary. And so, as announced last March, Microsoft Teams updates itself by offering many new functions to users private. A way to further expand beyond business use to increasingly meet consumer needs.

Microsoft Teams launches new feature for home users

With this update, available from yesterday for the mobile version of the service, several new special features arrive. Thanks to them it will be possible for consumers to take advantage of the collaboration platform to manage their work and private relationships in a simpler way and in total safety.




Users can in fact chat and organize audio and video calls easily and with many sharing possibilities. They range from nice animated GIFs to more complex content, such as photos, movies and even your own geolocation. However, it goes far beyond simply offering a messaging app. Through the intuitive dashboard available, you can easily share lists, documents and calendars with groups and individuals. All simplified further with the other applications of the suite Microsoft 365, to access files Word, Excel e Power point directly from the application and always carrying these documents with you through OneDrive.

Among the additional functions available, it should be noted Location sharing which will allow you to quickly share your location or that of a friend. Add to this Safe, to securely store and share sensitive information, through strong encryption and two-factor authentication.


Le new mobile features of Microsoft Teams for home users are available now, but the full rollout will take place gradually over the next few weeks. During the year, the aim is also to expand the desktop and web versions of the service.
