Icereach

The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm review, vampires are comingIcereah it is located on a remote island in the disturbing Sea of Ghosts located between Tamriel and Atmora. Here a witch cult is preparing a terrible ritual that aims to open, once again, the jaws of theOblivion and increase the power of the sorcerers. Among the disturbing settings of Icereach we will meet again Lyris Titanborn, the Northern champion we first met in the prison of Coldharbour, at the beginning of the game.

Together with her we will face the witch sisters who intend to perform the ritual to face them in intense clashes. The conformation of the dungeon, in fact, will force us to face them individually in a fairly linear but well-characterized path. The particularity of the level is given precisely by the attacks and skills of witches, particular and well-assorted that will give us a lot of trouble (especially in veteran mode). Clash after clash, we will approach the main room where we will have to face them all together in addition to the final boss of the level.

On balance, in Icereach we do not find innovative elements and everything we have faced is not so different from other dungeons that have already appeared in the game. The gimmick of the different powers of the witches and their combination is certainly the most interesting element combined with a considerable degree of challenge in the veteran mode.

Unhallowed Grave

The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm review, vampires are coming Unhallowed Grave immerses us in the fascinating world of vampires by giving us a preview and what we will see in Greymoor. The dungeon is located in Bangkorai in the Hammerfell and is set inside an imposing desert temple. Here, a group of mercenaries e negromanty is intent on plundering the temple and sacred relics and it will be up to us and our party to prevent this from happening.

Unlike Icereach, there are more varied and interesting gameplay mechanics thanks to the need to use the grappling hook that we learned to master in the previous expansion. The grappling hook will not only be used to move from one point to another but must also be used in combat making the action more lively. On the other hand, the characterization of boss (also in this case 5) is not so particular, all this translates into more "classic" but still satisfying clashes.

Like any self-respecting dungeon, both Icereach and Unhallowed Grave deliver interesting rewards for teams that will overcome difficulties, especially for tanks and attackers (DPS).

The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm recensione, parere finale

On balance, Harrowstorm offers the same additions as previous DLCs of this type (so-called dungeon-Packs), no more and no less. The story, while not the central element, lays the groundwork to prepare us for the dark events that will affect us Skyrim in the Greymoor expansion. Expansion we can't wait to play! For Sovngarde!
