What to grow during the farming frenzy in Borderlands 3

What to grow during the farming frenzy in Borderlands 3

The Farm Frenzy event in Borderlands 3 is now live. This will continue until January 30th, so if you want to get some fantastic in-game loot, now is the time to boot it up and start chasing your favorite bosses. With the event being so big and all over the game, you might not be sure exactly where to start or what you should do to get the most out of this event.

Your best bet is to first figure out what you can grow at the event and what changes. The event focuses on legendary items that have increased drop rate everywhere, and those items are more likely to have anointed perks. An anointed perk gives an effect to specific special skills that a chest hunter uses or adds an effect at the end of your ability.

You know you have an anointed weapon when it says "Anointed" at the bottom of the description. Below you can read what the anointed perk does for that particular character. Anointed Perks can sometimes only work for particular Vault Hunters, so if you have a named Vault Hunter named attached to the text, the ability only works on that character. There are also other more generic ones.

Which bosses have extra drops during Farming Frenzy? Here's the full list of things you can mine to get the best Legendary loot in the game:

    • Proving motives
    • Circle of Enemies of Slaughter
    • Clear Takedown boss
    • Hammerlock Hunts
    • Opportunity targets
    • Patterns of history

The Takedown of Maliwan mission will prove to be a great option to grind with friends as, alongside the event, the mission changes a bit. The mission now adapts to the number of players you have in your party. The more you take part in the mission, the more difficult enemies and bosses you will fight against, but that does mean you have access to higher loot. It's a good idea to party with the Frenzied Farming Event to make sure you're optimizing your production to receive the best Legendary Drops possible.

The event starts right now and continues through January 30. You can get the most out of the event by making sure to keep rotations and missions consistent while playing. Borderlands 3.
