With Apple's Where's Network, you can now really find everything

If you have an Apple device you just need a quick search in your Home to find Where is the application. Operation is simple: track your devices - and possibly those of your family - to be able to tell you where they are exactly.




But that's not all. In fact, the application allows you to ring the lost terminal, to block it immediately by activating the Lost mode, to show a message on the display with a telephone number or to delete all data remotely if you suspect a theft.

What if the lost iPhone or device is not connected to the network? Leverage Where's the network, made up of hundreds of millions of Apple devices that use Bluetooth to find other Apple products and report their position to their rightful owners.

Don't worry: as always, safety comes first. This technology takes advantage of end-to-end encryption and guarantees maximum anonymity. Only you then access the data and location of your smartphone, tablet, smartwatch or PC.

From today Apple's Where's app will be even more inclusive. Cupertino launched the Find My Network Accessory Program, designed for accessory manufacturers who want to use the same technology.




Developers will have to comply with all measures to protect Apple's privacy but in return they will sport the wording Works with Apple Find My and will be added to the new Accessories tab application.

The draft with the technical specifications for circuit manufacturers will arrive in the coming months, which will be disclosed in the coming months. This will allow third parties to take advantage of Ultra Wideband technology in Apple devices with U1 chips, thus allowing a more precise experience and direction detection when the devices are nearby.
