ROIDMI X30 Pro review

In the now large theater of electric brooms there is a new actor: the Roidmi x30 pro. The company, born in 2015 from the same ecosystem as Xiaomi, arrives with a new product with excellent conditions, an attractive design and promising performance in terms of power and autonomy. We had it on trial the electric broom Roidmi X30 Pro for a couple of weeks and we tell you about our experience in this review.

Roidmi X30 Pro: design and practicality

Despite his age, Roidmi's path in Italy has only recently begun and the new X30 Pro has all the right cards to be an excellent forerunner. We are facing uA well-made electric broom with an elegant and captivating design. The frame material is solid plastic with a dark gray finish particularly pleasant. Soft and sinuous shapes characterize the practical handle on which we find the only two keys of the Roidmi X30 Pro: one power button and one for changing the suction power.

On the front we find a small clearly visible OLED display who will visually communicate all the useful information to get the best out of this electric broom. In fact, we will always have under control the power with which we are vacuuming, the time (in minutes) remaining in the battery and once we have finished cleaning, the calories consumed during our session.

Under the main body we find the dust container compartment particolarmente simple to insert and open when needed. It is in fact a large transparent cylinder that fits perfectly under the engine. It can be detached from the broom with a single click and a simple second click will allow you to open the container and empty it. Here we also find a filter, between the motor and the dust container, without which the electric broom cannot work. It is a HEPA filter with antibacterial capacity which will need to be replaced from time to time. The original packaging already contains a replacement filter.

All accessories

Speaking of packaging, what immediately catches the eye is the large amount of accessories which the Roidmi X30 Pro is equipped with. Let's find them all.

La electric brush it will, of course, be the tool you will use most often. Unlike other models, the electric brush of the Roidmi X30 Pro features both hard, raised bristles on a soft fabric main body. This allows dirt, especially dust and hair to be trapped more easily but above all allows the brush to slide easily on any type of floor, reducing the friction between the floor and the brush. The brush is light, equipped with a small bumper and an articulated neck but also with a highly appreciated set of LED lights that will allow you to see the floor even in low light conditions.
La mattress brush it is another precious ally that, as its name suggests, will help you clean mattresses and sofas with great simplicity and effectiveness. This brush is obviously very short and is designed to allow you to use it easily over the bed. Here we find much harder brushes that will combine the suction of the electric broom with a "beating" effect of the mattress to move trapped dust and mites.
We also find one Brush for Pets pets specially designed to collect the hair of your pets. A dense weave of hard but not dangerous teeth allow the hair to be collected and trapped. Thanks to a simple but effective liftable bottom mechanism, it will be possible to detach the hair from the brush in no time without even touching it with your hands.
The Roidmi X30 Pro is also equipped with a water tank module to clean floors even with the support of water. It is a brush-tank capable of accumulating 160 milliliters of water and slowly releasing it on a microfibre cloth allowing you to wash the floors and vacuum at the same time. Once used, the cloth can be detached and washed in the washing machine.
The most classic accessories that we usually find in a device of this type complete the set of accessories: one crevice nozzle, a soft brush, two extension tubes, a brush to clean the motor and the dust tank and of course one charging base and relative power supply.

Our review of the Roidmi X30 Pro

For our review, we had the Roidmi X30 Pro on trial for a couple of weeks during which we tapped into its potential in various scenarios.

Let's start immediately by saying that it is one elegant and handy electric broom which gives, from the first time you hold it in your hand, a sense of solidity. With the electric brush attached, the broom has a weight of about 2,5 kilos particolarmente unbalanced on the top of the device. The motor and dust compartment inevitably makes the broom heavier in that area and it was it takes some practice to understand how to balance weight with the strength of the arm. After a few attempts, the pace is quickly picked up. The electric broom immediately proved to be a more than versatile tool that worked perfectly both on terracotta and marble surfaces and on carpets, with the right power management.

The great versatility makes house cleaning simple but above all fast. We absolutely loved the ease with which this is possible unhook and hang up the dust deposit so from empty it in seconds and start cleaning the next room again. This is an excellent procedure that allows us not to carry the whole engine module with us but a light container to be opened and closed with two clicks without getting dirty and without having the sensation of putting part of the collected dust back into circulation.

And there was light

Particular note of merit should be made to the strip of LED lights at the head of the electric brush that allow you to clearly see any element on the floor. The lights turn on automatically when a light sensor detects a low amount of light in the room. Seeing what you are going to vacuum is certainly a source of great satisfaction for the most clean freaks and we do not deny that we preferred to clean with fewer lights in the house so as to admire our work at its best (and save on the bill).

Performance and battery

As anticipated, the electric broom has three power levels: low, medium e high. The power level obviously corresponds to a level of consumption of the 2500mAH battery. At full charge, the battery guarantees up to 1 hour of autonomy, used at minimum power. The autonomy drops to 35 minutes if used at medium speed and 10 minutes when used at full speed. Although at the beginning of our test this lack of autonomy made us turn up our noses, using the electric broom we realized that the maximum speed was only used for a few seconds per session, only in the places where the dirt was greater or more hostile. On average, each cleaning session of a house of about 80m2 lasted about 30 minutes, more than enough.

What has banned us most is the battery charging time that takes about 2 and a half hours to fully recharge, which makes it impossible to dedicate yourself to a deeper house cleaning session where you want to, for example, clean the floors, wash them and even clean the mattresses. It is only a personal organizational question of the work but a little more autonomy and charging speed, we would not be sorry.

To support our dust fighting days, we also have one practical free application call ROIDMI. The application connects via Bluetooth to the electric broom and provides useful information such as the current battery charge, the remaining time e the integrity of the HEPA filter. Other information concerns the time spent cleaning and how much the surface we cleaned corresponds. We got to 1 XNUMX/XNUMX basketball courts.

The Roidmi X30 Pro electric broom is a exceptional device with the right balance of performance, design and efficiency. Some results in terms of battery autonomy have left us a bit dumbfounded, especially in view of the price of the device, but in the aforementioned electric broom scenario, it still maintains a good average.

The Roidmi X30 Pro could be the weapon to be used daily to fight dirt and dust in the house in a few minutes without sacrificing the efficiency and versatility that the accessories are able to offer. A must for lovers of cleanliness and an excellent entry into the world of Roidmi.
