Debuts today 21 July at 17: 00, Diva Tommei, the illimitHER mentorship and role modeling meeting program. The project was born to promote culture STEM and to inspire young people, especially girls, to take courageous and alternative paths both in studies and in work.

Diva is the only Italian to be included, at the age of 34, in the ranking "50 Top Women in Tech”Drawn up for the first time for Europe in 2018 da Forbes. He will be the protagonist of the meeting "STEM women: how to make the leap from research to startupping". Biotechnologist, inventor and entrepreneur, Diva Tommei is a young woman who will tell many other young people about her path to inspire them to undertake studies and work in the STEM field, a world still little explored by women. In fact, only 1 out of 4 STEM students is a woman, although the best performances recorded in the last decade are in their favor, both in terms of academic results and timing of graduation.

Becoming an entrepreneur
Diva is the founder of the startup Solemic and director of EIT Digital Italia, an innovation factory for innovative products and startups with a high technological impact funded by the European Commission. But what Diva will share tomorrow is above all the necessary risk factor that led her to realize her dream: to become an entrepreneur. After graduating in Biotechnology at Sapienza, obtains a PhD in Bioinformatiche toUniversity of Cambridge and participate in a program sponsored by NASA e Google where he develops skills related to the tech world. After her doctorate, she receives job offers in the research sector but, not imagining a future for her in this field, she refuses to throw herself headlong into entrepreneurship and found her startup.
