Santa Tracker better known in Italy under the name of Follow Santa Claus is a site but also an application that allows children to follow the adventures of Santa Claus during the Christmas preparations. For the little ones, however, the magic will come to life on the evening of December 24, the day when Santa Claus will get on his sleigh to bring gifts to all the children of the world. Thanks to Google you can geolocate Santa Claus throughout his journey.
Dozens of activities designed for the little ones will be available starting from December 4th, the first day of activity of the Santa Claus Village.

What are the games of Follow Santa Claus (also for teachers)
In the village, children will be able to practice basic programming skills, create original artwork, test geographic knowledge, and learn more about charities such as Khan Academy and Code.org. The teachers they can even download lesson plans with video guides to explain basic programming concepts and Christmas traditions to students in English, Spanish, French, Japanese and Korean.
The innovations introduced in 2018
The innovations introduced by the 2018 version of Follow Santa Claus with Google are really many and very fun. Here they are listed below:
- Create a pixie it will allow you to create a personalized elf from head to toe, with an el (f) egante look for Christmas galas at the North Pole;
- Dance with the elves will allow you to assemble a dance company with a group of very talented elf dancers. Thanks to a machine learning model called PoseNet, kids will be able to teach dance moves to a leprechaun, so it's ready for the dance floor;
- A new way to follow Santa Claus will allow you to monitor Santa's position in real time on Google Maps by simply tapping the menu button with three dashes and then “Location Sharing” to find out exactly where Santa Claus is.
