This Wednesday, July 21, the measures announced by Emmanuel Macron in his last speech come into force. From now on, you will need a health pass to enter several public places. Until now, the latter was only requested during events bringing together more than 1000 people to travel to other European countries.

It is therefore now imperative to have received the two doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 or, failing this, to have a negative PCR test for enjoy certain activities of daily living. What is the list of places concerned? And by the way, what exactly is the health pass? We have summarized everything you need to know in this file.

What is the health pass?

The health pass guarantees that you are not a carrier of the COVID-19 virus and that you therefore do not present a risk of infection to those around you. There are several ways to get it:

to receive the two doses of COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca) or the single dose for Johnson & Johnson
get a negative PCR test less than 48 hours
avoir a positive PCR test of at least 11 days and less than 6 months to prove recovery

Once one of these conditions is met, you will receive a certificate with a QR Code. You must then scan it with your smartphone equipped with the TousAntiCovid application for it to be integrated into it. All that remains is to present this QR Code at the entrance of the establishment to gain access.

Where can I use the health pass?

The French government has unveiled the list of all public places that will have the obligation to verify the health pass of visitors from July 21. There she is :

From August, the health pass will be extended to other establishments. While the date was originally scheduled for August 1, the National Assembly finally voted for its establishment from 9 August. In the meantime, here is the list of those concerned;

"We will try to do this in the most operational and fluid way possible, so as to have a good rate of control and, at the same time, not to make the life of travelers difficult", underlined Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, Minister. Delegate for Transport.

On RTL, Olivier Véran declared that wearing a mask will not be compulsory where the health pass is requested. "It means that we are sure that all the people who return are completely vaccinated or have a very recent test which is negative", he explained.

How to download your health pass?

When you get vaccinated or have a PCR test, you instantly receive a certificate proving that you are not a carrier of COVID-19. This document may exist in two versions: paper and digitized. In the case of the paper version, you collect it directly after the vaccination or the test. But you may need to download the attestation in its scanned format. Here is how to do it:

In the window that opens, fill in your date of birth
Select the method of receiving the code
Once the code has been received, enter it on the page
Click on the button Dowload or Send to Wallet to send it directly to your TousAntiCovid application

Note that you can also connect to your Health Insurance online account to download the certificate. You then have to integrate it into your smartphone in the form of a QR code. If you wish to present your health pass via the TousAntiCovid application, here are the steps to complete:

Open the application AllAntiCovid
Take your certificate and scan the QR code
Go to the section My notebook to find your health pass.

You can also use the paper version of the certificate, which you receive after having been vaccinated or with the result of your PCR test. Here again, all you have to do is show the document at the entrance of the establishment to certify your situation.

Beware of false health passes!

Since Emmanuel Macron's speech, the French have flocked to booking platforms to get a vaccination appointment. And if all do not seem decided to comply with the new measures, it is clear that the health pass promises to be the precious sesame to have for a peaceful summer. Thus, many of them are looking on the Internet for false vaccination certificates or false PCR tests to deceive the authorities.

These counterfeit documents have indeed become real contraband objects in recent weeks, since the implementation of the European certificate for traveling abroad. In the hours following the President's speech, the number of Google searches for “false certification” climbed to 4000. It is therefore a whole black market that has developed around the health pass.
