Mars in 4K: a video captures high-resolution images of the planet

In recent days we have recorded the departure of several new missions to Mars. While waiting to record the arrival of the new probes on the planet, a new video made by ElderFox Documentaries which summarizes a long series of high resolution images of Mars. The images were collected from three different NASA rovers.

The video we attach below was released by the YouTube channel  ElderFox Documentaries. This is a collection of high-resolution images of three different NASA rovers taken during missions on the planet over the past few years.




In about 10 minutes it is possible to admire Mars from different points of view, analyzing the unique characteristics of the Martian landscape. Here, then, is the video released by ElderFox Documentaries that shows us March in 4K. 

Reaching Mars, to date, is still very difficult, so much so that several missions have ended in failure. Furthermore, once it reaches the surface of the planet, there is the problem represented by the transmission of the data collected to the Earth. The maximum transmission speed, available for just 8 minutes per day, is 2 MB per second.

I rover Spirit, Opportunity e Curiosity has collected many images of Mars. Over the next few years, the planet will be visited by several new probes launched from Earth. The new missions, in addition to gathering information on Mars and taking new photos, will serve to lay the foundations for a possible human mission on the planet that could materialize in the coming years.
