Soundmoji arrive on Messenger: but what are they?
In practice, Soundmoji are nothing more than very short audio clips, which users can send via Messenger to those they prefer. Obviously this new form of emoticon will come in extremely varied forms. There will be applause, the sound of crickets, laughter and even the roll of drums; but not only.
It will also be possible to send clips created with the collaboration of artists and famous people, such as Rebecca Black, who has already confirmed her participation in the initiative. To send one of the 27 sound icons, just start a chat on Messenger, tap the smiley face and finally select the option with the speaker. At this point, just choose the clip we want to send and that's it.
Definitely a good news for the world of Messenger, which will see its communication ecosystem further improved. In this regard, we take this opportunity to remind you that the emoji day, which falls every year on July 17, recalls the invention of the Japanese designer Shigetaka Kurita, considered the father of pictograms that have become commonly used today.
Of course, it should be emphasized that the introduction of such a function could put a strain on the patience of users less inclined to adopt this kind of communication, but it is realistic to imagine that at the same time the possibility to choose whether or not to listen to these small audio clips will be introduced.
