Nintendo Switch is an unstoppable success. According to official sales figures, the Nintendo hybrid console it sold 44% more between January and March compared to last year. Taking into account the recent sales numbers, Switch reaches a total of 28.83 million units sold.

As we said at the beginning, Switch has generated in total 28,83 million systems sold in the last fiscal year, an increase of 37% compared to the previous 21 million last year. A result that surprised even Nintendo itself, whose forecasts stood at lower values.
It is not difficult to imagine what this surge in sales is due to: the COVID 19 pandemic has led many people to invest in a console to stay in touch with friends or simply to pass the time in the period of forced isolation and Nintendo Switch, as it opens, is one of the most popular.
According to data shared by the big N, the total number of Switch units currently sold since its launch in 2017 stands at 84 million units. A number that, however, seems destined to grow further over the next few months, given the positive trend that the Nintendo hybrid is experiencing.
Even in terms of video games we have noteworthy data, with a total of 230.88 million of securities purchased, in contrast to i 168.72 million last fiscal years. Really impressive results. Popular games include Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario 3D All-Star and Ring Fit Adventure.
We take this opportunity to remind you that for months there have been various rumors about a hypothetical Pro version of Switch, which would guarantee a 4K video output. Nintendo has not yet confirmed or denied anything in this regard, but if it were true we could expect an announcement in the coming months.
