OnePlus 2021 news

Although it has over time become a brand for a certain circle of enthusiasts, the OnePlus it has never actually stopped stealing customers from bigger adversaries like Samsung or Apple. Their working method, initially, had a nice motto: never be satisfied. This was not just about luxury or the power of a product in general, but also about getting something at a currently affordable cost. In short, a union of latest generation power with an easy price to deal with. But many years have passed since that motivational moment.

Some consider the latest gestures of OnePlus, in 2020, something thrown to the wind. Others, on the other hand, think that he is preparing very well.

Here is what we could see during this 2021:

  • Don't ruin the OnePlus Nord!

For months there has been talk of the North, this model that again took to heart the initial philosophy of OnePlus. But the way it was presented, in the end, only received a lot of criticism. In some respects some do not even consider it a "real" OnePlus because we have become accustomed to the refined and sparkling aspects of the latest models.

But the North is actually a Smartphone that can compete abundantly with many of the mid-range models on the market. For only 400 euros, you have a 5G-equipped mobile phone with an excellent camera, a high-potential battery (4115 mAh) complete with a 30W fast charge, and a splendid 6.4-inch Fluid AMOLED screen. In addition, it has OxygenOS, one of the most popular Android skins in the world.

However, one of the problems lies in the software updates, which arrive late, and two of the Northern variants present are currently poor in the true sense of the word. It is a shame to leave this series to itself.

  • Real news, not "copied".

When OnePlus arrived on the market, it brought news that no other mobile had ever dared to integrate. Nowadays, however, it all ended up being the classic bandwagon. Do everyone else have wireless charging? And now the OnePlus has it too. IP certificate? Idem. And although at some point the possibility of ultra-fast charging was offered, other products already followed this line. It is time to change, but above all to innovate: following other fields that the industry does not want to follow for various reasons.

  • An Oneplus watch. The Smartwatch for those who are not satisfied.

It has been rumored for some time that OnePlus wants to enter the smart watch market. To be honest, it has already been declared by the house that during the first months of 2021 we will see something like this. But for the moment, what we can do is hope and ask with hope to see a Smartwatch that deserves the OnePlus brand. At the moment, there are no watches that are particularly capable of competing with the Apple Watch for its countless qualities, so the moment is right: we need the definitive watch for us Android users!

  • OxygenOS does not have to become a Skin like the others.

OxygenOS is a highly respected skin in the Android user community. But lately, it has taken a lot of elements from One UI, the version provided by Samsung. Nowadays it is more and more difficult to innovate something like this, but it is the identity that is really important. OxygenOS has always had features that many Android users didn't even know they wanted, but with the latest versions these chores have gone missing.

Time to change the slogan or really surprise the whole world again? OnePlus has had a rather flirtatious 2020, but there is still time to make up for it. This 2021 can bring the house motto back into effect, it's never too late to do so!
