OrCam Technologies, a company based in Israel, has developed OrCam MyEye 2, a weareable device based on artificial intelligence (AI). In these days of quarantine, concretely help blind people and the visually impaired at a time when the opportunity for immediate, constant and updated access to information is essential for all citizens.

The device is incredibly light and compact, about the size of a finger, which, thanks to pioneering technology, is capable of read through a speech synthesis high quality printed and digital texts, on any surface, even distant, in real time. It is equipped with speaker and connectivity Bluetooth to be connected to hearing aids or simple headphones. Among other features of OrCam MyEye 2, there are both instant face recognition and the identification of consumer products, colors and banknotes.
