Say "bye bye" to Samsung Smart View
With the advent of new connected televisions the obsolescence of TV is more based on their software than on their hardware. If for a few years you can rest assured between updates and cutting-edge functions, after a while your TV may decide to abandon you (or almost).
Right in these days Samsung smart TV owners dated from 2014/2015 they saw a notice which stated the company's willingness to cease support. That's right: from 5 October 2020, application Samsung Smart View it will cease to function.
This allowed for control the use of the contents from your smartphone to your beloved Smart TV. The app it also served as a remote control for the various smart TVs and allowed to broadcast music, video o photo stored on a phone / tablet on the television. However, re-reading the reviews on the Play store, the application has not had a good reputation lately. Many complained of constant disconnections from their TV and other problems.
The company has therefore decided to cease support and to transfer some functions to its Smart Home Hub called "SmarThings“: This can control most of the company's TVs released after 2016 (models beyond K5500 in 2016, M5500 in 2017).

How to solve?
