OnePlus 9 it shouldn't arrive until spring 2021. But they are some images have leaked showing the new device, published by PhoneArena: we can have a small preview of what awaits us next year.
OnePlus 9: here are the first images
PhoneArena managed to get their hands on some photographs of the smartphone prototype, even before branding is added. The first thing to note is that screen: dish and high, with a diagonal from 6,55 inches (like OnePlus 8T). At the top, a small hole for the selfie camera does not obstruct the view of the panel. The fact that the curved edges seen in the OnePlus 8 Pro are missing could be a problem for some, although many find it more convenient to use Android's new keyless navigation system without it. PhoneArena reports that the panel should have a resolution of 2400 × 1080, with an update frequency of a 120 Hz.
OnePlus 9 seems to have the top-of-the-range processor of 2021: Snapdragon 888. This not only means that OnePlus has equipped its new device with the best CPU on the market but also that the new device supports 5G.
The camera in the top corner of the device has the “Ultrashot” branding, on which, however, no further details have emerged. It could be OnePlus proprietary technology but right now it's just speculation. Also on the resolution and the focal range we cannot give you further details. However, it seems that the two main sensors are the classic wide angle and ultra wide, while the third it could be a sensor designed for macro or depth.
Finally, it appears that the OnePlus 9 has a 4500 mAh, 8GB in RAM e 128 GB of available memory (although there are probably other options available). The operating system OXYGEN is based on Android 11. We know nothing about the price, although we do not expect it to deviate much from the model seen this year. For the same reason, the launch should arrive in spring 2021. In the coming months we expect to see these specifications confirmed (or denied): we will keep you updated.
