Fresh ‘n Rebel Twins Tip recensione
In the last few years Fresh 'n Rebel has given us really interesting products at very affordable prices. One above all the Clam ANC, the noise-canceling over-ear headphones that we had the opportunity to test a few weeks ago. Now they come back to surprise us with Fresh ‘n Rebel Twins Tip, a pair of true wireless headphones that combine good sound performance with the always popular wireless charging. All this a 79,99 euro.
A touch of originality
The design is not surprising. The Fresh 'n Rebel Twins Tip propose again a now classic form, with the arms that bring the microphones closer to your mouth and the rubber tips that firmly anchor the earphones to your ears. But what really satisfies is the choice of colors. In a world made of black and white headphones, the Dutch company proposes 6 decidedly captivating shades. We have tried those Misty Mint but you are really spoiled for choice and all of them can help you stand out from the crowd and bring a touch of color into your everyday life.
The materials are also convincing. The feeling is that of having in your hands a solid and well finished product, a sensation that also extends to the CASE which houses the two headphones. The latter is equipped with a USB-C connector for charging, a magnetic closure for the lid and 4 internal LEDs that indicate the battery level. The only unconvincing aspect is the size. Of course, you can put it in your pocket without difficulty given the reduced thickness but, compared to other cases, it is a little more generous. On the other hand, it offers well 20 hours of autonomy che adds to the 4 of the earphones for a total of 24 hours. Not bad really.
Let's not forget the ricarica wireless: the case can in fact receive a burst of energy without necessarily having to resort to the cable. A nice convenience but above all an absolutely not obvious function considering the price range.
Music and calls
On the audio front the Fresh ‘n Rebel Twins Tip they behave pretty well. We have a clear sound, high volume and deep bass. We are not talking about an audiophile-friendly rendering but they turn out nonetheless perfect for everyday use.
Calls are less satisfying. Everything goes well if you are in a quiet environment, such as a home or an office, but a few noise is enough to distort your voice a little. In short, we advise you not to call while walking down the street.
Controls, on the other hand, work very well, albeit quite limited:
- double tap on the right for Play / Pause;
- double tap on the left to activate the voice assistant;
- triple tap to the right for the next track;
- triple tap left for the previous track.
Unfortunately it is not possible to change them because Fresh 'n Rebel did not foresee no application alongside its true wireless headphones.
The Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity overview ends. The Twins Tips are really very reactive: the connection to a smartphone, tablet or PC is immediate and stable, sno occasional signal loss or pairing difficulties.
Fresh 'n Rebel Twins Tip review: buy them or not?
The true wireless headphones of Fresh ‘n Rebel Twins Tip we definitely liked them. They're not perfect, mind you, and probably aren't the best choice if calls are your priority, but if you're looking for a pair of headphones that are suitable for music, podcasts and audiobooks to use every day without worrying too much about the battery you should really consider. the Twins Tip.
