In recent weeks, the messaging app has made a lot of talk in itself for updating user privacy. And as far as this is correct, it has however muted a number of interesting new features of the platform. Including the "Read later" function, which will allow users to better manage WhatsApp messages. But what does it really consist of? And what will be new in this feature? Let's try to find out together.
WhatsApp: messages managed with the "Read later" function
In principle, the new “Read Later” function may be similar to archived chats, although it is not essentially the same thing. Through this option, users will in fact have the possibility of disable some conversations putting them in a list, thus avoiding receiving all notifications regarding the arrival of new WhatsApp messages. In a nutshell, through this function you can enter in the "Read later" section all those chats that you do not consider too important for you, so as to keep the main screen of the App as clear - and tidy - as possible.
Like archived conversations, those you decide to read later will also be positioned at the top of the list chats, so you can retrieve them at any time you want. Just go to the Settings section application to activate or deactivate the switch for the function. In case you decide to deactivate it, automatically all the chats to be read later will return to the main list. In short, with this function WhatsApp takes another step towards users, trying to help them as much as possible in the management of incoming messages.
Apparently, this is not the only novelty that the platform will propose to its users in the coming months. Video calls from PC and the multi-device support, even if it has not yet been specified when. But it doesn't matter, because we are really willing to wait to see how much these new features will improve our user experience.
