The application is now available on the Google and Apple application stores before the implementation of the health pass this wednesday 9 june.
The health pass is one of the new tools put in place by the government to continue the deconfinement of the country and allow a return to an almost normal life.

A simple application to scan sanitary passes
From this Wednesday, June 9, events of more than 1 people will be authorized only for vaccinated people but also those who can attest to a negative PCR test of less than 000 hours.
To allow their entry into fairs, shows or concerts, the of the country government offers in addition to a paper document the possibility of adding their health pass in the TousAntiCovid application in the form of a QR Code which must be scanned by an operator at the entrance of each event.
To do this, the authorities have put online a new application, TousAntiCovid Verif, which allows you to check the health pass from your smartphone. The application is also already available on iOS and Android so that professionals can install it now.

Little data on the screen, but still some gaps
The software is extremely basic, and only allows scanning of paper and digital QR Codes. Once the operation has been carried out, a summary sheet indicates the validity of the health pass as well as the user's last name, first name and date of birth. The type of vaccine or the result of the PCR test are not displayed on the screen to ensure data confidentiality.
During our screenshots we received a notification reminding us to order on the prohibition to recover these few data under the Data Protection Act, but technically nothing prevents a control employee from doing so. A point that may need to be corrected in a future update of the application.
However, this digital version remains more secure from a data security point of view than the paper version, which presents all the vaccination information to the operator in charge of the control. The CNIL has also asked the Health Insurance to review its copy to offer a document more respectful of personal data.
