However, the dark web can be a very dangerous place and its exploration must be done in safety.
The dark web in safety? Yes, but you have to be very careful
First of all we must dispel a myth: not all of the dark web is illegal, dangerous and bad. There is a lot of content very similar to what we see on the internet every day, in modified versions. You simply have the possibility to surf in complete anonymity, thanks to parallel networks. A desire that can also be only of those who are worried about daily web tracking, without there being any needs related to illegality.
In fact, among the contents we can find sites such as ProPublica, which provides information in places where the Internet is censored, or the parallel Wikipedia HiddenWiki or even Astaroth, portal dedicated to the world of education. To access it, a browser connected to the network is enough for the larger ones, while for the smaller ones you often need an invitation. And despite the defense of anonymity, this can still be very risky.

Some are classic suggestions, such as the invitation not to share personal data, a rule that also applies on the classic network. It is also better to avoid illegal sites, both for the most obvious reasons and because they have a high risk of malware. Also, it's always best to avoid shopping, your credit card details are definitely at risk here.
The suggestion is also to always use a VPN in navigation to be safer. When combined with software from cybersecurity powerful, you can have a good deal of peace of mind. And finally, as a rule of thumb, don't download files. Our PC could be affected.
