Going into more detail, the country's GS1 is a 'non-profit organization that develops global standards for business-to-business communication in various sectors: consumer goods, healthcare, banking, logistics and the Public Administration. It was born in 1978, the year after the standard identification system was launched GS1 (ex EAN) in Europe: at the time the organization was called Indicad and was made up of 60 associated companies. Today GS1 of the country brings together 35.000 companies of consumer goods and helps improve relations between companies, associations, institutions and consumers.

Sign up now to start using barcodes for your products, choose an option from Consumer Goods Industries Association, Modern Distribution Association e Service contract and follow the simple on-screen instructions to submit your application.

Binary Eye (Android)
If you are looking for an app for Android that allows you to create barcodes easily and completely free of charge, so I suggest you take a look at the app Binary Eye. It is a simple app to use, without advertising, without micro-transactions and, above all, open source (which ensures the absence of content harmful to privacy).
You can download it to your Android smartphone or tablet directly from the Play Store by clicking on the button Install, or from alternative stores. After you have downloaded and installed the app on your device, start it by tapping its icon on the home screen or in the drawer.
When starting Binary Eye you are prompted for access to the device's camera. This is a permission you can grant if you want to use the code scanning functionality; otherwise you can also deny consent if your goal is only to generate barcodes.
Once this is done, on the main screen of this app, tap on the + icon and, using the drop-down menu at the top, select the type of bar code you want to generate (for example EAN 8 o EAN 13). Then move the bar relative to size in pixels of the generated barcode and then enter the number to be assigned in the box Content.
Now, you just have to click on the icon > below to generate the barcode, which you can save to your Android device via thediskette icon at the top or copy it to the clipboard, using theoverlapping pages icon.
Barcode Generator (iOS/iPadOS)
If you want generate barcodes through your iPhone o iPad, you can rely on the app Barcode Generator: it is a free and ad-free app that allows you to generate barcodes of many formats (EAN-8, EAN-13, ISBN, QR Code, etc.).
To use it, tap on this link directly from your Apple device, so as to redirect yourself directly to the Barcode Generator tab on the App Store. Once this is done, tap the button Get and unlock download and installation via Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
On the main screen of the app, press the button Generate Barcode and, in the box Enter your data, enter the barcode number. Using the box below, instead, tap on it and use the selector to choose the type of barcode (for example EAN13Code). Finally, press on the button Create, to generate the barcode.
You can save a copy of the barcodes by pressing the button Save and then access the list of all saved barcodes by tapping the button Saved Data. Through this section you can easily print or export the generated barcodes to the iOS / iPadOS image gallery.
Other apps to create barcodes
In addition to the app that I suggested in the previous chapter, you must know that on the store of Android smartphones and tablets (Play Store), as well as in that of iPhone and iPad (App Store), you can find tons of free, freemium or paid alternatives to succeed generate a barcode.
However, you must be careful what you download to your device, both because you could find yourself a very invasive app in terms of advertising shown, and because you could expose your personal data to security dangers.

To make a barcode with Online Barcode Generator, all you have to do is connect to the home page of the site and select the standard to use from the drop-down menu Barcode. For example, if you want to generate ISBN barcode, select the corresponding item ISBN give menu to tendin Barcode.
Then fill in the fields that you find corresponding to the items Contents, Options e Additional parameters with all the details of the barcode you want to create and click on the button Make Barcode to generate your barcode.

To use it, connected to its main page and select the type of barcode to be generated from the menu that you find in correspondence with the item Choice of barcodes. For example, if you want generate EAN barcode 13, choose the format EAN 13 among the options you find in the menu Choice of barcodes.
Once this is done, you can also set all the properties by filling in the fields and selecting the options that you find under the heading Value and properties. Finally, click on the button Create barcode which is on the right and, in the new browser window that will open at this point, select the format in which you intend to download the barcode on your computer. By clicking on the wording instead Barcode printing you can call up the print function directly.
BarCodesInc
If, on the other hand, you are interested in generating a barcode for less professional reasons (for example with your name, to have fun with friends on forums and social networks) you can use BarCodesInc.
