Cololight Pro review
Cololight Pro it is made up of hexagonal and modular sections that join together to compose the figure that interests you most. The panels are joined together through special connectors made up of a single or double hook: the double connectors transmit the electric current between one section and the other, while the single connectors make the entire structure more solid and stable. The electric current, which reaches the lamp through the special USB power supply, powers the 19 low consumption LEDs inside each section which guarantee effective lighting without dark areas on surfaces.
The Cololight is available in two versions: one starter Kit with 3 light sections and a base or the Pro variant - the one we tried - with 6 sections and a stone base. However, you can purchase additional panels to create a virtually unlimited number of designs. The solid base guarantees excellent stability even with the most demanding "constructions" but, if necessary, the panels can also be installed on a wall.

A Smart lamp
Being a Smart lamp, Cololight Pro can be managed from a smartphone or tablet through the namesake application, available for both Android and iOS. From here you can adjust the brightness of the LEDs and select the various colors. In fact, there are many available within the application pre-set that establish the tones but also the animations, from the most varied and dynamic to the most static and classic ones. It is also possible create and customize your own set of animations having available beyond 16 million possible combinations.
The application allows you to choose three color selection modes including manual, dinamica e personalized to change the mood at any time. It is also possible to activate adynamic lighting that intelligently adapts to the music that is played in the room. Just use the microphone of their smartphone and admire the variety of lights and animations that change according to what they hear.
Obviously, in order to use the app and, more generally, the lamp it is essential to have a home connection, also useful for controlling Cololight Pro using Google Assistant e Amazon Alexa. You can then use voice commands to turn the lamp on and off, change its color or adjust its intensity.
Price and availability
Cololight Pro is available on Amazon for around 74 euros, while for the 3-panel variant you will need just over 40.
The panels instead can be purchased individually for about € 14 each or in various combinations ranging from 3 (to 29 €) to 10 (79 €) panels.
